Another unexpected session for the end of the week. Managed to leave work a bit early Friday afternoon so got home to collect my gear and off to Fleetwood for half 6 to join 4 other kiters and 2 windsurfers.

Was contemplating using my 14 again but I knew I would be fully lit so opted for the 9m which was just enough. An 11m kite woulda been perfect!

Being an Easterly wind, it was quite gusty so it was a case of trynna maximise the gusts to work your way upwind and travel slightly downwind in the lulls. Despite the inconsistent winds, every1 was getting some jumps in and various other tricks.
I completely lost the knack of my timing with the jumps so feels as though I've taken a few step backwards with all my dunkings. Just not getting out enough to make any considerable progress!
Pleased I went as there was sod all wind for the whole weekend so well worth the trip. Evening was finished off with a fair few beers in my local pubs
